If you have experience cooking for 20+ people per meal, creative flair and knack for desserts, this job offers you some compelling opportunities. You will:

  • Show off your culinary ingenuity as you prepare meals to meet diverse dietary guidelines, including gluten free, eating disorders, vegan, allergies, etc. Your creations may be featured on our website or in brochures.

The Role

Reporting to facility leadership, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking three meals presented to 30 to 35 clients and staff members daily. Each meal should be a complete course comprised of a protein, vegetable, salad, carbohydrate, and a dessert. Together with the Office Manager and other Chefs, you will plan and price menu items and order supplies. This will include writing weekly menus and disseminating them appropriately.

What You'll Need

To be a good fit for the Chef opportunity, you will have:

  • 5+ years experience cooking in a family style, catering, group home or treatment center environment

  • Experience cooking for 15 or more persons (per meal), including desserts

  • A current ServSafe permit

  • 1+ year of experience in menu development, and a demonstrated ability to create diverse, enjoyable meals

  • A valid drivers license, current auto insurance, and clear DMV report
