What is the opportunity?

The Centralized Financial Advisor will provide telephonic advice and guidance to existing and prospective clients in the selection of products and services best suited to meet their financial goals. The clientele may come from a variety of channels including but not limited to PCG FA referrals and digital marketing inquiries. Centralized Financial Advisors are expected to have strong working knowledge of all products and strategies made available to them. They will develop and maintain relationships with existing clients and build relationships with new clients. The goal is to demonstrate to clients and prospects the value of the Centralized Solutions platform, resulting in asset accumulation and retention and client satisfaction.

What will you do?

  • Provide high quality service via telephone to clients transferred from sources including but not limited to PCG FAs and digital channels
  • Assess clients' individual investment objectives, tolerance for risk, financial capabilities, investment potential, and respond to their needs and the market.
  • Meet/exceed minimum expectations for business development production on a quarterly and annual basis.
  • Using knowledge of the financial industry and advice from internal product consultants, select suitable investments based on client needs and research recommendations, and promptly execute approved transactions.
  • Adhere to all compliance/risk procedures, follow corporate and industry protocols, and act in a manner which protects the interest of the client and RBC.
  • Continue to improve and develop skills, techniques and knowledge by participating in ongoing professional development programs.

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
  • Series 7, 66 (63,65) and insurance licenses required
  • 3-5 years of investment based sales and relationship management experience.
  • Established track record of results and success in providing advice and expanding client relationships.

Nice-to-have

  • MBA or advanced degree

    The good-faith expected salary range for the above position is $65,000 - $115,000 depending on factors including but not limited to the candidate's experience, skills, registration status; market conditions; and business needs. This salary range does not include other elements of total compensation, including a discretionary bonus and benefits such as a 401(k) program with company-matching contributions; health, dental, vision, life and disability insurance; and paid time-off plan.
