Autonomous nursing care is the ability of a nurse to assess and provide nursing actions as appropriate for patient care populations based on competence, professional expertise, and knowledge. The nurse is expected to practice autonomously consistent with ANA Standards of Practice and Professional Performance. Independent judgment is expected to be exercised within the context of interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary approaches to patient care. All performance expectations associated with this position are performed at the PRACTITIONER Level. This position requires assisting with special pulmonary procedures in an inpatient, outpatient, and OR capacity. You will work along side other team members and assist with bronchoscopy and other interventional pulmonary procedures including, but not limited to, EBUS, navigation bronchoscopy, rigid bronchoscopy, thoracentesis, tunneled pleural catheter placement, chest tube placement, tracheostomy. At times you may be asked to assume the role of OR circulator or scrub, with a need to know and observe sterile techniques. Knowledge of EPIC OpTime is desirable. Must have a good understanding of airway management. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Pay Transparency Act Annual Full Pay Range: $180,716 - $180,716 (will be prorated if the appointment percentage is less than 100%) Hourly Equivalent: $86.55 - $86.55 Factors in determining the appropriate compensation for a role include experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
