Come join our Compliance team as the Core Systems Administrator and take your career to a level unattainable in a traditional bank environment! The Core Banking Systems Administrator will be the primary overseer of the bank's core banking systems, ensuring their functionality, performance, and seamless integration across the organization. This role will involve close collaboration with various departments to align the core banking system with business processes and organizational goals,
enhancing overall operational efficiency.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • System Oversight: Monitor and optimize the core banking system's performance,
    implementing improvements to enhance user experiences and minimizing disruptions.
  • Workflow Optimization: Develop and refine workflow processes to increase efficiency and streamline operations.
  • Vendor Management: Manage relationships with vendors, oversee help desk tickets, support agreements, and SLAs, ensuring vendor performance meets contractual obligations.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Generate and analyze reports to provide insights into KPIs, risks, security events, and areas for improvement, driving informed decision-making.
  • Integration and Coordination: Coordinate with IT for technical support and ensure seamless data flow and integration with various platforms and applications.
  • Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation for system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
  • User Management: Oversee user accounts and access controls, implementing measures to protect customer information and prevent unauthorized access.
  • Compliance: Ensure all system activities comply with relevant policies and procedures, including FFIEC/GLBA guidelines and NIST/CIS controls.
  • Testing and Validation: Support and plan user testing cycles for system upgrades, ensuring thorough testing and validation of new features.
  • Technical Development: Oversee all stages of technical development for product creation, including design and development.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years Core system experience required.
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • Prior banking experience required.
  • Ability to complete assignments with little oversight and supervision.
  • Strong accounting and math skills.
  • Ability to deal with routine changes often.
  • Ability to deal effectively and tactfully with customers, employees and Bank management.
  • Good organizational and communications skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Must have excellent computer skills including extensive use of Windows, Microsoft Office Programs.

Physical Demands:

  • Sustained standing and sitting.
  • Frequent use of PC, including typing or sustained attention to monitor.
  • Occasional lifting of basic office files or equipment up to 20 lbs.
