Description
The QMS Project Engineer reports directly to the Quality Manager on all matters relating to Quality, safety, and company policy. The QMS Project Engineer is the key member of the V2X Quality Management System (QMS) Internal Audit Team. As an QMS Auditor, this position will work with all levels of the AHTS Organization to ensure QMS requirements across programs, functions, and platforms are in compliance. The role requires a strong understanding of AS9100, AS9110, ISO 9001:2015, effective communication skills and the ability to work independently. This individual will support the goals and objectives of the V2X Internal Audit Team. Their duties may also include drafting, publishing, and maintaining accuracy of procedures within the QMS that support compliance with the PWS and AS9110C standards. This position is also responsible for the training, leadership and management of personnel assigned to the Quality Assurance Department. Must possess the ability to communicate accurately and concisely, both orally and in writing. Must be able to read, speak, write legibly and understand the English language. Must possess exceptional Computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Essential Duties and Accountabilities
