Job Description

Job Summary

Gather disparate data; analyze and normalize to ensure data integrity for analysis. Provide consistent, relevant and accurate data and analysis as well as guidance/knowledge of the data and definitions that are available. Constantly strive for process improvement looking to add value across the organization through insightful analytics.

Major Tasks, Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities

  • Serves as a data expert across the entire organization.
  • Gathers and compiles raw data; conducts research for industry trends and benchmarks; and normalizes data.
  • Develops complex data models using disparate sources; transforms data into easily consumable sources that can be used to produce insightful and meaningful analytics.
  • Analyzes, reports, makes comparisons to industry/company benchmarks, determines trends, and prepares cost analyses.
  • Defines data definitions and documents data limitations.
  • Prepares data models for analysis; create dashboards, reports, maps and ad hoc requests using tools such as Microsoft Excel, Alteryx, Tableau, Microsoft Power BI, SQL Server Management Studio, SAP BPC, Thoughtspot and Showcase Query. May make presentations.
  • Provides recommendations based on findings and analysis. Provides input on policies and procedures. Constantly questions the status quo and searches for opportunities to improve processes.
  • Participates in department and interdepartmental projects.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Must be a minimum of 18 years of age or older
  • Must pass pre-employment assessment(s) if applicable

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Strong analytical skills and a curiosity for working with data.
  • Basic knowledge of Excel and an interest in learning SQL, Power BI, or other data tools.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to explain data in a simple way.
  • Detail-oriented mindset with a willingness to learn and grow in the role.
  • Prior experience with data analysis, reporting, or visualization (through coursework, internships, or personal projects) is a plus but not required.
