TRISTAR is seeking a Logistics Manager (T-REX) for our upcoming government customer in Tampa, FL

  • TRISTAR is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Logistics Manager (TREX) to support the Targeted Requirement Execution (T-REX) program
  • Must possess a strong background in with both military and commercial sustainment activities with emphasis on logistics lines of operation to include but not limited to ordering, procurement, storage, staging, transportation, reception and acceptance of materiel
  • Requires experienced in supply chain security and risk management

Position Responsibilities

  • Supply Chain Risk Management Plan: Support development of supply chain risk management plan to provide security for all deliveries
  • Prevent Supply Chain Disruptions: Provide end to end risk assessment on supply chain when disruption happens through analytics
  • Develop Logistics Chain Processes & Procedures: Develop data-driven insights through the analysis of supply chain data including but not limited to procurement, staging, transporting, warehousing, revenue, and customer orders
  • Develop & Maintain Customer Relationships: Establish and maintain relationships within USSOCOM representatives that support all aspect of the supply chain
  • Professional Communication Skills: Assess and communicate supply chain assessments, in writing and orally; demonstrate good communication skills
  • TRISTAR Logistical Manager: Serve as a logistical lead for the TRISTAR team to provide USSOCOM with solutions for their acquisition requirements under this contract
  • Logistical Management: Support the TRISTAR team with all aspects of supply chain management, which also includes scheduling, budgeting, and deliverables
  • Fiscal Management: Support the contract with fiscal accountability. identify and implement cost-saving measures without compromising quality
  • Quality Control: Support the TRISTAR team to identify, assess, and ensure no issues with the quality of products provided to the customer
  • Ethical Adherence: Maintain the TRISTAR core values, ethics and support all company policies in the execution of your duties as a Logistics Manager
Requirements
  • 10+ years of experience in supply chain management within the Special Operations community.
  • Strong knowledge of DoD and USSOCOM regulations and requirements, which also includes ITAR, DFARS, and FAR (Federal Acquisition Regulation)
  • Ability to communicate clearly with a variety of stakeholders across the SOF Enterprise
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize effectively
  • Detail oriented approach to monitor project progress and identify and resolve issues promptly
  • A team player who maintains a positive attitude in a dynamic environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and make data-driven decisions
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with customers
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft office suite and other USSOCOM directed software platforms
  • MUST be a US Citizen
  • Must possess active Top Secret clearance and be SCI eligible

'Additional Information:

  • Travel: Up to 20% travel to CONUS & OCONUS customer locations to support contractual requirements
  • Work Environment: The place of duty will be at the USSOCOM directed location on MacDill AFB, FL

Education and/or Certification

  • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management or related degree in similar field. 15+ year's experience performing these duties at USSOCOM may be taken into consideration in lieu of a degree.
