Staff Instructor
Your main responsibilities
- The position holder will co-develop and deliver instructional material for training courses that support Schindler and other OEM products and methods.
- Incorporate motivating, creative, and interactive training techniques to enhance the training experience; maximizing learning and retention.
- Support and utilize hands-on, classroom, jobsite, and e-learning solutions and ensure new training methodologies are incorporated into the training approach.
- Responsible for the deployment, interface, and training material production between SEC business stakeholders, field operations, and technical teams.
- Develop continuous advancement strategies based on pre/post training effectiveness evaluations and KPI metrics.
Training delivery:
- Actively deliver training material/programs to all product lines
- Manage coordination, scheduling, and logistics associated with training delivery
- Manage training programs through the existing SF/LMS system at SEC
- Ensure training facilities, materials, and program content are well organized and prepared
- Support students with pre/post program activities and follow through actions
Production:
- Participate in the development of educational material based on SEC business needs
- Develop and manage project milestones to deliver on time, budget compliant solutions
- Manage internal and external partner expectations, performance, and quality
- Ensure product quality while creating learning that embraces end user perspectives (through feedback and continuous improvement) and maximizes engagement and retention
- Prepare solutions for seamless integration with SuccessFactors LMS system
Communication/Collaboration:
- Capture user feedback and prioritize development/delivery to meet learner needs
- Actively work with various stakeholders to identify areas with the strongest ROI on training delivery efforts (ie: efficiency/MTBC/Quality)
- Partner with business line/department subject matter experts in development processes
- Interface with key stake holders and internal customers to determine product requirements
- Organize and provide development updates and deliverable notifications to internal and external customers
What you bring
- Expert knowledge and understanding of elevator technologies mandatory, with the ability to train on all aspects of an installation and/or service (mechanical/electrical).
- Hands-on experience delivering and developing training programs. Must be well versed in learning styles and diverse methods to reach all learner
- Proficient with SEC multi-media learning tools and platforms (WIKI / OSCAR2 / SuccessFactors).
- Experience with various learning delivery methods (jobsite/classroom/remote).
- Ability to demonstrate a strong (confident) presence when delivering training through the various methods.
