Professional Development and CLE Coordinator

Taft is seeking a Professional Development & CLE Coordinator to serve our Professional Development team in Taft's Cleveland or Indianapolis office.

We are seeking a Professional Development & CLE Coordinator with 2+ years of related experience to provide administrative support to our Professional Development team in the Cleveland or Indianapolis office. All Taft employees operate under a "Client First" philosophy-in all things, we seek to provide exceptional services to our clients.

Duties and Responsibilities:



  • Provide programmatic and CLE accreditation support for Taft-produced lawyer training programs
  • Work with and maintain various business systems relating to CLE and program management such as the Firm's learning management systems, CLE tracking systems, regulator databases, and additional management systems.
  • Provide initial review of course materials and other program documentation submitted for CLE accreditation
  • Assist with the preparation and submission of year-end reports, accredited provider renewal applications, and other mandatory CLE reports to ensure the Firm's accredited provider status in key jurisdictions
  • Draft communications to attorneys on rules, CLE course credit awards, updates on regulations, upcoming programs, deadlines, compliance status, etc.
  • Respond to inquiries regarding the CLE process, and other related matters
  • Keep abreast of CLE regulations in the various jurisdictions in Taft markets
  • Maintain and audit CLE program files, including course materials, attendance records, program materials, and other required documents
  • Process attendance forms and issue CLE certificates for CLE programs
  • Support attendance tracking
  • Coordinate data entry of external CLE certificates into Taft's CLE tracking system (viLMS CLE)
  • Support on-site, off-site, and online CLE and other Professional Development programs produced by the Firm
  • Assist the Professional Development team with special projects and initiatives as needed
  • Other duties, as assigned


Education and Experience:

Required:



  • Bachelor's degree and two plus years' related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience


Preferred:



  • Database administration experience
  • Experience with viLMS CLE
