AIT is seeking a talented and motivated Domestic Customer Tracking Agent I to join our team to track and trace shipments with high accuracy. The team ensures that shipments are updated timely, troubleshoots service disruptions, and communicates service delays.

Track and trace shipments as necessary to ensure proper movement and delivery Participates in the development and use of suitable sales forecasting processes and models.
• Update shipments with current shipment status to include comprehensive notes
• Communicate daily with AIT field offices as well as AIT's agent/carrier networks to ensure on-time performance
• Troubleshoot and resolve service disruptions
• Maintain familiarity with conditions that require special services and ensure accurate data entry of these costs
• Answer Departmental phone lines and emails
• Cultivate and foster trusting relationships with AIT's agent/carrier networks
• The wage range for this position is $18.36-$28.52 and may vary based on geography as well as relative knowledge, skills, abilities, and experience

Other Skills We Hope to See:

• High School/GED required - Associates degree in Business, Logistics or Supply Chain preferred
• Minimum of 1 year Customer Service or Tracking experience in a freight forwarding environment
• Prior experience working with AS400 a plus
• Knowledge of U.S. geography and airport codes a plus
• Basic to intermediate PC skills - MS Office
• Ability effectively prioritize and manage time and tasks
• Detailed Oriented
• Excellent organizational, problem solving and analytical skills.
• Strong Communication skills both verbal and written

In addition to your base compensation, you may be eligible for a bonus based on achievement of business and/or individual performance metrics (dependent on position).
