Your Role

Are you a hands-on mechanical worker with a passion for precision and a knack for balancing rotating components? Join our team, where your skills and dedication will be celebrated. We're on the lookout for experienced professionals who take pride in their craft and are eager to contribute to a company that values excellence and innovation.

As a Balance/Spin Technician you will repot to the Core Manufacturing Supervisor and work closely with machinist and production teams. The hours for this position are Monday through Thursday 3:00 pm to 1:30 am. This is an onsite position located in Voorheesville, NY.

• You will operate low and high-speed balancing machines
• You will handle run-out measuring equipment (electrical & mechanical) and interpret results
• You will prepare and file balance reports
• You will set up machines independently and assist others with set-ups
• You will machine parts to drawing dimensions and verify their accuracy
• You will use a variety of measuring instruments, both common and specialized
• You will perform most shop math calculations

• At least 3 years of operating precision balancing equipment or equivalent experience.
• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• Good mechanical aptitude and hands-on experience
• Ability to reach and understand machining drawings.
• Proficiency in using measuring instruments and performing shop math calculations
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independentl

• The total base salary for this position is $31.11 to $46.78 an hour
• All 2nd shift employees are entitled to a 10% shift differential #LI-Onsite
