Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the testing and commissioning of train sets, ensuring high-quality standards and specifications are met
- Develop, review, and manage technical documentation for electrical processes, products, and quality requirements
- Analyze designs and make proposals for process and product optimization
- Support manufacturing processes for electrical installations and components
- Troubleshoot production problems and provide solutions for manufacturing train sets
- Develop training materials for customers and provide technical support for electrical matters
- Participate in project meetings, contributing to electrical installation and testing activities
- Work hands-on with the production staff to test electrical components, wiring, and overall system performance
- Inspect completed installations, ensuring they meet operational and safety standards
- Investigate customer complaints, determine the extent of problems, and recommend solutions
Required Experience:
- 3-5 years of hands-on electrical engineering experience, preferably in the rail industry
- AS or BS in Engineering
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma is a plus
- Training in 3D CAD tools
- Experience with SAP and project-related engineering support is preferred
- Familiarity with analog circuit simulation tools (e.g., PSPICE)
- Knowledge of CAD software (ProE or AutoCAD preferred)
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Other Requirements:
- Experience in an ISO-certified environment
- Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Positive attitude and excellent team collaboration skills
- Ability to meet strict deadlines and work in an industrial environment
- Valid driver's license required
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test and background check (including MVR)
Work Schedule:
- Primarily first shift, with occasional second shifts, weekends, and holidays based on customer needs.
- Flexibility to support urgent assistance requests when needed
