Why Talgo? $1,000 Hiring Bonus 100% Health Benefits for Employee (50% for Dependents) 401K with Company Match Paid Holidays and Generous Time Off Career Growth and Learning Opportunities Key Responsibilities: Assist in the testing and commissioning of train sets, ensuring high-quality standards and specifications are met Develop, review, and manage technical documentation for electrical processes, products, and quality requirements Analyze designs and make proposals for process and product optimization Support manufacturing processes for electrical installations and components Troubleshoot production problems and provide solutions for manufacturing train sets Develop training materials for customers and provide technical support for electrical matters Participate in project meetings, contributing to electrical installation and testing activities Work hands-on with the production staff to test electrical components, wiring, and overall system performance Inspect completed installations, ensuring they meet operational and safety standards Investigate customer complaints, determine the extent of problems, and recommend solutions Required Experience: 3-5 years of hands-on electrical engineering experience, preferably in the rail industry AS or BS in Engineering Experience with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma is a plus Training in 3D CAD tools Experience with SAP and project-related engineering support is preferred Familiarity with analog circuit simulation tools (e.g., PSPICE) Knowledge of CAD software (ProE or AutoCAD preferred) Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word) Excellent verbal and written communication skills Other Requirements: Experience in an ISO-certified environment Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision Positive attitude and excellent team collaboration skills Ability to meet strict deadlines and work in an industrial environment Valid driver's license required Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test and background check (including MVR) Work Schedule: Primarily first shift, with occasional second shifts, weekends, and holidays based on customer needs.
