The Opportunity

DAT is looking for a full-timePurchasing Specialistto join the Finance & Accounting team in Denver, CO or Beaverton, OR. We are looking for a strong accounting professional who is team-oriented, results driven and has a proven track record of process improvements. This is your opportunity to bring your purchasing workflow and accounting experience to a cutting-edge SaaS company that is a leader in delivering data and analytics to the logistics and supply chain industry.

What You'll Do

• Creating and managing purchase orders, ensuring accuracy in terms of quantities, prices, and delivery dates.
• Accurate receiving on purchase orders to recognize the expense per GAAP and proper account.
• Communicating with purchase requesters to obtain quotes, negotiate prices, and ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
• Process purchase requests ensuring compliance with company policies.
• Vendor Management to control costs and drive synergies with departments using similar tools.
• Assists management team with preparing documentation for internal and external audits.
• Work with Procurement to improve business processes and workflows for a better user experience
• Works with Accounts Payable during Close to make sure we are capturing all expenses in the proper periods.

• 3+ years in purchasing or a related role
• Understanding of GAAP
• Tropic and GP experience a Plus.

For Colorado-based candidates, in compliance with Colorado's Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the minimum salary for this role is $88,000 + benefits. The maximum compensation for this role can vary significantly depending on your job-related skills and experience. DAT considers factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education and training, core skills, internal equity, and market and business elements when extending an offer.
