Water Engineering Intern - Summer 2025

OUC - The Reliable One, an industry leader and the second-largest municipal utility in Florida, is offering an internship program in the OU.DIVISION division.

We are looking for a Water Engineering Intern - Summer 2025. During the internship, you will interface with various in-house software platforms utilizing oracle database systems (ePets, storms, and CC&B). You will manipulate and populate large sets of data to develop flow basis for all OUC services. You will analyze irrigation services and acreage as well as utilize irrigation calculation spreadsheets to support new irrigation block rate structures.

Internship Eligibility:

• Currently enrolled at an accredited college or university in a degree seeking program.
  Academic status of sophomore, junior, or senior.
• Program of study: Environmental Engineering or Civil Engineering
• Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above
• Authorized to work in the United States
• Ability to commit to a full-time schedule between May 19, 2025 through August 15, 2025

The Ideal Candidate will have:

• Proficiency in Excel

Nice to Haves:

• Database experience
• ACAD Experience

Compensation: $17.50 - $21.00 per hour, varies depending on the education level

Schedule: Full-Time (up to 40 hours per week) - Hybrid Schedule
