GENERAL FUNCTION
The Sales Support Associate provides support to the Sales Team and responds to Sales Consultant and Customer inquiries. Contributes to creating and maintaining relationships and ensuring smooth Sales Team operations.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for sending emails into the Sales Support inbox and responding within SLA in a timely and professional manner.
- Support for live Sales Support chat feature - responsible for answering live chats in a timely and professional manner.
- Provide troubleshooting assistance for customer orders, account statuses and relevant problems to ensure excellent service and customer experience.
- Uses a consultative approach with Sales Consultants and customers to drive sales and establishes internal and external business partnerships.
- Maintaining positive relationships with Sales Team and works cross functionally with all departments to find solutions.
- Use of CRM system, corporate tools and software applications to run reports, documents, monitor status for Sales Consultant driven requests.
- Manage sales tracking tools and report on important information
- Works with the Manager to suggest sales process improvements.
- Strategy development to include strategic input and creative problem-solving skills.
- Effectively uses all marketing support and training materials.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- AA/AS degree preferred, or equivalent related 2 years of experience in successful customer service, call center or sales support role.
- Strong interpersonal skills i.e. flexibility, adaptability and a proven ability to work in a team environment.
- The successful candidate will possess excellent verbal and written communication skills and good organizational skills.
- Demonstrated computer skills (MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, Google Suite & general PC navigation).
- Must be able to handle multiple concurrent tasks at one time.
- Must have ability to learn and develop a working knowledge of the optical industry and our products: contacts, eyeglass lenses, coatings, lens prescriptions.
Employee pay is determined by multiple factors, including geography, experience, qualifications, skills and local minimum wage requirements.
