Pay Grade/Pay Range: Minimum: $53,500 - Midpoint: $66,900 (Salaried E8)

Department/Organization: 870202 - Student Care & Well-being

Normal Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm; some evenings & weekends required

Job Summary: The Case Manager provides non-clinical case management services to students experiencing a broad range of issues. Meets with students and provides referrals to appropriate resources and administers the Clearance Process for students deemed to be at risk to self or others. Facilitates follow-up communication with healthcare providers, appropriate University personnel, families, and students. Provides weekly and annual case management reports.

Additional Department Summary: Provides non-clinical case management services to students experiencing a broad range of issues. Meets with students and provides referrals to appropriate resources and administers the Clearance Process for students deemed to be at risk to self or others. Facilitates follow-up communication with healthcare providers, appropriate University personnel, families, and students. Provides weekly and annual case management reports to the Director of Student Care and Well Being and participates in On-Call Dean services. Completes required training and promoting a safe, hospitable, and respectful workplace. Has personal accountability for financial reporting and responsibility for establishing, enforcing, and following internal processes and controls as outlined in UA policies and procedures.

Required Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree and two (2) years of case management, crisis management, and/or social services experience; OR master's degree and some case management, crisis management, and/or social services experience.

Skills and Knowledge: Ability to communicate effectively. Ability to prioritize work assignments. Knowledge of computer software and database management. Demonstrates commitment to supporting all students.

Preferred Qualifications: Bachelors degree and three (3) years of experience to include two (2) years of experience working in case management, crisis management, medical office, campus housing facility, or related office environment; OR masters degree and two (2) years of experience working in case management, crisis management, medical office, campus housing facility, or related office environment. Experience working in higher education administration. Licensure in LCSW and/or LPC.
