Job Description:

  • The position requires an operator to key from images in a high-volume, fast-paced production environment across multiple systems maintaining rigorous throughput requirements.


Purpose of the Position:

  • As an EHA, duties are performed to support Environmental Health with searches for existing system records for properties requiring some independent judgment and knowledge, the ability to create folders to store data, and downloading of files for later uploading to a different location for searchability.
  • This is to allow more staff to have access to our older records for septic and well permits in a database that we utilize daily.


? KSA's:

  • Skills in data entry with minimal errors Effective communication with staff Proficient in basic computer software programs Skills in problem-solving Ability to work with diverse cultural backgrounds.
  • A valid State Driver's License is required to operate a state vehicle or if operating a personal vehicle while conducting business on behalf of the agency Ability to work independently with minimal directions other duties as assigned.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Graduation from high school and experience in environmental health.


Role & Responsibilities:

  • Data entry of existing onsite systems and well records that are removed from the cloud-based storage location to be added to the Environmental Health Database (EHD). Data entry should have minimal errors in the creation of the EHD address file.
  • Upload system records to the 911 address created in EHD. Create a Septic File for the Attachment of Historical Data.
  • Record retrieval from the Next Request system will be added to the existing EHD files.
  • Utilize Next Request to review previous requests and attach them to known 911 addresses.
  • If the known 911 address is not found in EHD then the 911 address should be created on the address manager tab in EHD.
  • Notify the supervisor if a deficiency is found with a record retrieved from the Next Request system Utilize time wisely Maintain good communication with the supervisor of activities and any issues that may arise.
