Description & Requirements About the Role We are seeking a highly strategic and results-driven National Account Manager to lead the development and execution of key initiatives for an identified set of strategic dealer accounts. In this role, you will build and nurture deep relationships with executive stakeholders, oversee account growth through effective programs, and drive alignment across internal teams. You will also collaborate with global teams to ensure communication, consistency, and alignment for accounts operating outside the U.S. This role requires a dynamic leader who can manage top-down and bottom-up engagement, track performance, and ensure flawless execution through field sales teams. What You Will Do * Build and maintain deep relationships within key dealer accounts, focusing on executive stakeholders in sales, technical, and procurement teams. * Partner with Harman's global teams to ensure seamless communication and alignment across accounts operating outside of the U.S. * Implement a holistic approach to account management, influencing decisions and driving execution at all levels. * Identify growth opportunities, create tailored programs to address account needs, and ensure seamless execution to drive results. * Work with internal peers, including Regional Sales Managers, Technical Resources, Marketing, and Global Account Teams, to align on strategy and execution. Provide guidance and direction to field sales teams to ensure goals are met. * Serve as the primary voice for Harman with these accounts, delivering key messages, securing NDAs, driving beta initiatives, and leading certifications. * Ensure day-to-day execution by field sales teams aligns with account objectives, providing leadership and accountability. * Lead QBRs to review performance, set strategic goals, and strengthen partnerships with dealer accounts. * Provide monthly reports on account performance, track key metrics, and maintain accurate forecasts to support decision-making. * Willingness to travel up to 50% to meet with partners, conduct reviews, and ensure alignment between U.S. and global teams. What You Need * Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in strategic account management, business development, or sales, with a proven track record of managing national or global accounts. * Strong ability to build and maintain relationships with executive stakeholders across sales, technical, and procurement teams. * Experience collaborating with global teams to align strategies and ensure consistency across regions. * Proven experience developing and executing programs that deliver measurable results. * Excellent communication, presentation, and leadership skills to influence stakeholders and ensure alignment. * Analytical mindset with experience tracking metrics, forecasting, and providing data-driven insights. * Expertise in leading QBRs and facilitating regular cadence meetings with both partners and internal stakeholders. * Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment and adapt to changing business needs. What Makes You Eligible * Willingness to travel up to 50% within the U.S. and potentially abroad. * Ability to work independently from a home office. * Successfully complete a background investigation and drug screen as a condition of employment. #LI-RV1 Pay Transparency $ 105,000 - $ 154,000 Dependent on the position offered, other forms of compensation are also available, such as bonuses or commission.
Pay is based on a wide range of factors, including, without limitation, skill set, experience, training, location, and business need. While the above range is a reasonable estimate of the wage range for this position, please note the disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographical differential associated with the location where the position may be filled.
