Stony Brook University: Health Sciences: Renaissance School of Medicine: Pediatrics Location Stony Brook, New York Open Date Feb 10, 2025 Deadline May 10, 2025 at 11:59 PM Eastern Time Description The Pediatric Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant will provide direct care to patients in the Division of Pediatric Primary Care Medicine at Stony Brook Children's Hospital and at the satellite practice locations in collaboration with an Attending Physician. The Clinical Instructor will be responsible for the following:
Qualifications REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Nurse Practitioner: New York State Licensure as a Nurse Practitioner. Master's Degree in Nursing (foreign equivalent or higher), or completion of a course for a Nurse Practitioner and certification as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner. Minimum of three years of clinical experience working in Pediatrics. Physician Assistant: New York State Physician Assistant License and NCCPA certification as a Physician Assistant. Bachelors of Science (foreign equivalent or higher) for Physician Assistant; Graduated from an ARC-PA accredited program. Minimum of three years of clinical experience working in Pediatrics. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Five or more years of clinical experience working in Pediatrics. Application Instructions All application materials must be submitted online.
