Responsibilities:
  • Conduct pre-conversion analysis of financial institutions' general ledger systems and provide consultation on mapping their chart of accounts to settlement applications.
  • Act as the primary contact for credit union staff regarding settlement processes, ensuring accuracy to mitigate financial risk.
  • Organize and facilitate training sessions at all levels of the organization, providing hands-on support for two weeks post-conversion (with potential for extended assistance if requested).
  • Assess financial institutions' chart of accounts and provide recommendations for recording settlement general ledger transactions.
  • Maintain quality assurance by reviewing financial institution procedures and practices, offering recommendations to reduce financial risk.
  • Ensure that institution staff thoroughly understand the settlement process and guide them in assigning appropriate general ledger accounts for daily transactions.
  • Develop, update, and improve training materials in collaboration with internal training teams.
  • Address support tickets from financial institutions regarding daily settlement processes.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or at least seven (7) years of experience in the credit card industry.

  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience with Omaha Settlement.
  • At least three (3) years of experience in card network industry services (credit, debit, stored value, etc.).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel.
  • Strong experience in communication and collaboration across various organizational levels.

  • the individual's skill sets, experience and training;
