Job Overview


Achieve sales, service, and profitability goals by developing and maximizing strategies that drive the Polaris objectives. Deliver outstanding execution of merchandise strategies within assigned FOB and stores. Take an active leadership role with the merchant and planning FOB management team to support driving sales through compelling and differentiated merchandise assortment and execution presentations. Ensure development of consistency across the company in key areas of execution.

Essential Functions



* Drive sales and deliver elevated Customer Experience by ensuring in-store merchandise execution is consistent with merchant and planning vision. Support the development of the assortment roadmap to win as the Personal Style Source.

* Deliver sales and goals through the effective use of long-range strategy and in-season analysis.

* Partner with GBM to prioritize and deliver on merchant vision.

* Influence Central partners to support store Strategies and customer centric sales opportunities.

* Work closely with GBMs and Visual partners to transform merchant strategies into compelling merchandise execution strategies to achieve sales plans by FOB.

* Lead the prototype process - align with Visual counterparts to ensure cohesiveness.

* Lead Market meetings with Regionals, FBDs and Vendor community to surface MyMacy's opportunities and collaborate on product development to support. (Attention to Seasonality by

region)

* Critical partner and liaison to RDOS on talent development of Regionals and DMs.

* Develop field teams skills in merchandising, planning, leadership, presentation, listening and negotiating skills as required by responsibility.

* Own and drive development strategy, succession planning and recognition initiatives nationally.

* Train to high competency on all aspects of the business including all Omni store functions.

* Participate with Regionals and DMs in store visits and deep dives.

* Recommend space allocation / square footage needs aligned with sales plans in partnership with DVPs to deliver sales objectives.

* Communicate major growth initiatives requiring significant space allocation adjustments pre-season.

* Communicate to RDOS/DVPs major event activity and presentation standards to maximize sales inclusive of major presell events with goal setting.

* Collaborate with store teams to drive results and elevate colleague performance including but not limited to MyStylist and Wedding Registry.

* Review and analyze results across Regions, share best practices and recommend actions to drive sales.

* Regular, dependable attendance and punctuality.


Competencies




  • Bachelors Degree preferred
  • 8-10 years related experience
  • Effectively communicate and present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, and all levels of internal and external business partners.
  • Ability to effectively plan and execute strategies. Results oriented self-started with experience managing large remote teams.
  • Ability to monitor and maneuver workflow to achieve priorities. Proficiency in analytical capabilities
  • Ability to influence others and resolve conflict; is highly collaborative.
  • Ability to travel 60% or as needed.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule based on department and store/company needs




Physical Requirements
