Material Handler

Saab, Inc. is looking for a Material Handler to join our Regional Aircraft Team in Ashburn, VA. The ideal candidate should be highly motivated and committed to providing outstanding service to Saab regional airline customers and internal colleagues.

Responsibilities will include:

• Perform the physical and administrative tasks involved in the shipping, receiving and order fulfillment.

• Unpack and check goods received against purchase orders or invoices, maintain records of received goods and reject unsatisfactory items.

• Perform cycle counts.

• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.

• Must be able to operate a forklift.

• Prepare and maintain records of merchandise shipped.

• Post weights and shipping charges and prepares goods for final shipment, including international shipments.

• Stock and distribute materials in inventory.

• Perform cycle counts.

• Must have the ability to become Hazmat certified.

• Take part in after hours on-call duties.

Compensation Range: $23.75- $27/ hr

The compensation range provided is a general guideline. When extending an offer, Saab, Inc. considers factors including (but not limited to) the role and associated responsibilities, location, and market and business considerations, as well as the candidate's work experience, key skills, and education/training.

• 3-5 years of relevant experience

• H.S. diploma or equivalent

• Ability to follow company policies and procedures

• Working knowledge of Inventory Management principles and Shipping/Receiving modules

• Ability to multi-task and prioritize workload

• Knowledge of MS Office and ERP system desired
