The Role:

Provide support for all major meetings and events managed by the Office of the President- Meetings & Conferences. The President's Office includes the USTA Chairman and President; the USTA Board of Directors; the USTA Past Presidents; and the Director.

    Manage Customer Service aspect across all areas of the Association for all meetings and events by answering, screening and responding to all telephone calls and email.
  • Manage the registration process for all USTA meetings and events.
  • Coordinate overall USTA meeting and event logistics as assigned.
  • Coordinate development of collateral for meetings and events.
  • Assist with reservation process for all USTA meetings and US Open block in in New York.
  • Assist the Manager, Meetings & Events, with all US Open special projects and events as assigned. Manage communication and customer service aspect for all special projects and events leading up to the US Open as assigned.
  • Manage all event supplies, event materials, and other items for all meetings and events.
  • Serve as a resource within the USTA to help support other department meeting and event needs.
Who You Are
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred and 2-4 years' experience working in business or the association field in a similar role.
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Power Point, and Microsoft Access. Familiarity with online registration and survey evaluation systems desired.
  • Demonstrated ability in handling multiple tasks and coordinating logistics.
  • Strong proficiency in time management; able to manage project calendars and tasks in a timely fashion, demonstrated self-starter and able to work independently as well as in teams.
  • Ability to excel in fast paced environments.
  • Ability to work independently as well as with cross-functional teams.
  • Knowledge and appreciation of the game of tennis a plus.
  • This position is designated as "hybrid/flex". Any such position must meet the current USTA hybrid/flex requirements as updated from time to time.

The expected range for the base salary for this position is 45,000 - 47,000 and overtime eligible. This range does not include any additional pay or benefits for which a person may qualify. The actual base salary offered is determined by several variables, including, as appropriate, the applicant's qualifications for the position, the years of relevant experience, their unique skills, and the location from which they will be performing the job.
