The Payroll Specialist is responsible for timely processing of UnityPoint Health - Meriter wide payroll and related functions. Must maintain a working knowledge of Federal Wage and Hour and DWD rules and regulations, along with various union contracts and other company policies and procedures.

Minimum Requirements:
  • 2-year Associates Degree
  • 1-2 years of Payroll experience
  • Excellent Microsoft Office Suite experience (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Critical thinking skills, working in a team and meeting deadlines
Preferred Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or human resources
  • 2-5 years Payroll experience in large organization
  • PR: FPC or CPP
  • Experience with time and attendance systems
  • Experience with Lawson or other large ERP software
