About the Role
The Marketing Automation Manager is responsible for developing and executing marketing automation strategies that enhance lead generation, customer engagement, and revenue growth. This role collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure automation initiatives align with business goals and drive measurable ROI. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of HubSpot, excellent analytical skills, and experience working in a fast-paced B2B SaaS marketing environment.
Job Responsibilities
- Develop and implement marketing automation strategies, campaigns, and nurture programs to drive customer engagement and conversions.
- Collaborate with demand generation, content, brand, and creative teams to execute integrated campaigns.
- Manage and optimize email marketing workflows, ensuring compliance with best practices in segmentation, personalization, and deliverability.
- Analyze customer data to build targeted audience segments and improve campaign effectiveness.
- Implement governance and process controls in HubSpot, including email marketing, landing pages, subscription management, and lead scoring.
- Conduct A/B testing on email content, timing, and triggers to optimize performance.
- Serve as the HubSpot Subject Matter Expert (SME), providing training and support to internal teams.
- Track, measure, and report on email campaign performance to drive continuous improvement.
- Stay up to date on marketing automation trends and technologies to enhance Hexagon's marketing initiatives.
Qualifications
Must-Have Skills
- 5-7 years of experience in marketing automation for B2B SaaS marketing.
- Expertise in HubSpot with a proven track record of campaign execution.
- Strong knowledge of email marketing best practices, automation workflows, and segmentation strategies.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Experience with A/B testing and optimization strategies.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with cross-functional teams.
Nice-to-Have Skills
- HubSpot certification(s) or equivalent experience in another marketing automation platform.
- Knowledge of CRM integration and lead scoring models.
- Experience in multi-channel marketing automation beyond email, including SMS, chatbots, and in-app messaging.
- Familiarity with marketing attribution models and reporting.
Physical Demands and Work Environment
- Primarily an office or remote setting, with standard computer and office equipment usage.
- Requires occasional travel (up to 10%).
- Regularly required to communicate with teams and stakeholders across different departments.
