Supports and contributes to business analytics projects and processes to provide data-driven insights related to business performance, the output of which will be used to advise and develop strategies for operational improvements and future business initiatives. Develops a good understanding of our business model, objectives, issues and challenges by interacting and collaborating with users and stakeholders. Works directly with business lines and technical teams to understand and define business and operational issues, challenges, and the identification and definition of metrics which represent progress towards resolution. Identify key business questions, corresponding data requirements and conduct exploratory analysis for solutions. Provide various business units with analytical insights and actionable information to measure and report progress against corporate strategic objectives.

Analyze internal and external sources of data including our core systems, business results, industry data sources, competitor intelligence and customer information. Make recommendations to improve data quality and data collection processes. Work with internal teams to diagnose and fix data quality issues.

Uses statistical methods, modeling, analytical methodologies, and data analysis to develop and deploy tools including dashboards, KPIs, KRIs, reports and models to inform and support decision making. Present data in a clear manner and propose solutions. Create data visualization to help business leaders understand their business problems and proposed solutions. Participate in working group and committee forums to understand data needs and recommend potential solutions for data usage.

Analyze data to extract valuable insights with goal to improve marketing techniques and increase cross-sell (bank and wealth). This will be accomplished, in part, by dissecting and interpreting PP's client landscape, and developing metrics to track key elements of client segments.

Introduce data science best practices for implementation at PP. Develop a data literacy process to ensure dashboards, KPIs, KRIs, and all produced reports are understood, adopted, and valued.

As time allows, support the strategy office with ad hoc projects including but not limited to investor relations, strategic and capital planning, and performance analysis.
