Position Summary: The Client Service Associate (CSA) plays a crucial role in supporting Portfolio Managers and Wealth Advisors within Union Investment Management Group. CSA completes all administrative duties of assigned accounts including investment agencies, foundation, endowments, and individual retirement accounts. This professional acts as a contact for clients and assists Portfolio Managers and Wealth Advisors in administration of complex relationships. This role is eligible for hybrid work from home opportunity under the work from home guidelines up to one day per week upon completion of onboarding.

Essential Functions:



  • Perform all administrative duties of assigned accounts including opening and maintaining accounts, tracking transferring accounts and performing all account maintenance tasks. Account types include; investment agencies, foundations, endowments, and individual retirement accounts.
  • Establish and maintain client relationships and ensuring client satisfaction acting as a primary contact.
  • Draft written or electronic communication on behalf of Portfolio Manager or Wealth Advisor.
  • Log and track of customer calls and emails.
  • Maintain databases of client information, including Maui, Director and Redtail to ensure accounts are kept in compliance with bank policies and standards.
  • Prepare quarterly and ad hoc updates for Portfolio Managers/Wealth Advisors. Assist in the administration of complex relationships that require customized reporting.
  • Research and service client requests including distributions and transfers from investment accounts, questions on account activity or statements, and special requests in a promptly manner.
  • Organize and track contacts with top-tier clients.
  • Facilitate the creation of marketing materials, proposals for new business, and client investment reviews.
  • Use independent critical thinking to input data obtained for clients into UIMG's various systems.
  • Perform asset transfers for client accounts. Monitor account cash lists for overdrafts and new contributions to accounts.
  • Coordinate all aspects of new account openings.
  • Act as a liaison between UIMG and other departments of the bank.
  • Understand and adhere to all bank policies, laws, and regulations applicable to their role. Complete compliance training; follow internal processes and controls as required.
  • Report all compliance issues, violations of law or regulations in accordance with the steps defined in bank policies.
  • Regular and reliable attendance is an essential function of this position.
  • Perform other job-related duties or special projects as assigned.


Qualifications:



  • Minimum of 3-5 years investment administrative or investment operations experience preferred.
  • General knowledge of UIMG investment philosophy preferred.
  • Highly skilled in Microsoft Office Products and in working with other financial software.

Working Environment:
