Position Overview Riverside Research is seeking a RADAR Engineer/Scientist to contribute to cutting-edge research and development in the Intelligence Community supporting the National Air and Space Intelligence Center. They will be responsible for supporting developing and testing RADAR R&D methodologies to advance the NASIC mission. They will advise on, support execution of, and evaluate R&D initiatives and future sensor fusion. The RADAR Engineer will assist with developing operational requirements, design reviews, and programmatic support for NASIC programs. In addition, they will support development and test of experimental collections. Responsibilities Coordinate development and testing for various R&D initiatives Work across multiple teams to support independent testing and evaluation Support requirements definition, design reviews, and program support Collaborate effectively to support future sensor fusion Document and communicate requireents, design decisions, technical challenges, and progress to technical and non-technical internal stakeholders Qualifications Required Qualifications: Ability to maintain a Top Secret/SCI Security Clearance Willingness to undergo Counterintelligence Polygraph A minimum of 5 years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience Experience with RADAR Hardware including integration, calibration, operations, knowledge of RADAR data Signal processing knowledge including signal processing techniques, RADAR parameters, Doppler processing, waveform modulation, image generation Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Excellent written and verbal communications skills Ability to operate independently with limited supervision and feedback Desired Qualifications: Current Counterintelligence Polygraph Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics or a related field Previous NASIC experience Demonstrated experience of advanced RADAR techniques Global Comp $100,000- $130,000 This represents the typical compensation range for this position based on experience, location and other factors.
