Job Description

We have an exceptionally exciting role for an Appian Developer to join our ever growing and dynamic Wholesale Offer Management Team! In this role, you will primarily be responsible for the growth of our Appian tool supporting our Fiber to the Tower initiatives. You will lead complex, multi-disciplinary development in a high paced environment while keeping the big picture in focus. By drawing on a broad set of technical and business experiences you will own, plan, and execute development assignments throughout the entire life cycle. This includes managing implementation project schedules, deadlines, communications, identifying risks and clearly communicating goals and outcomes. Being part of this team means you will be interacting with cross-functional partners including senior leadership as part of our internal design to help collaborate and solve challenging business problems, create innovative solutions, and implement innovative ideas to provide true value to our partners and customers.

As Appian Developer, you will have the following duties and responsibilities:

  • You will be responsible for developing innovative and creative solutions that will solve for our strategic priorities
  • Highly collaborative team member that values innovation and forward-thinking solutions
  • Design, develop, and test software applications within the Appian platform
  • Transform client requirements into Appian solutions
  • Lead discussions with the Technical and Business teams to gather requirements and troubleshoot issues
  • Collaborate with fellow developers and IT teams to optimize system functionality
  • Design and develop technical solutions on the Appian Suite based on the requirements gathered
  • Design and deploy integration requirements, data models, and reporting
  • Foster continual process improvements
  • Defining architectural & development standards for the project in adherence to Appian and partner's best practices
  • Project management skills will be required
  • Performing frequent code reviews and ensuring the quality of the overall delivery
  • Translating your Appian work into presentations to other eco systems, including senior leadership
  • Lead User Acceptance Testing with business users
Qualifications

WHAT IT TAKES TO CATCH OUR EYE:

  • 8 years+ with experience in Appian BPM, RPA, and associated methodologies
  • Strategic view of business and react to changing environment
  • Certifications in Appian or similar technology platform
  • Appian Senior Developer is a strong plus
  • Experience working with Appian Tempo
  • Experience working with Appian Sites
  • Six Sigma and Project Management Professional certifications is a strong plus
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently
  • Java development experience
  • Telecommunications industry experience
  • Analytical, technical skills, written and verbal communication skills
