High Liner Foods is proud to be the leading North American processor and marketer of value-added frozen seafood. We are seeking aSr. Inventory Planning Logistics Analystto become the newest member of our Logistics Team. The position will be based out of our Portsmouth, NH Plant

As the Inventory Planning & Control Analyst, a typical day might include the following:



  • Providing detailed analysis in support of Inventory Planning, Warehousing and Logistics initiatives that require feasibility studies and assessment of overall costs to warehouse and/or transport inventory to various North American locations as requested by Marketing, Sales or the customer.
  • Management and ongoing coordination of the US Aged/Excess Inventory process in conjunction with Sales and Marketing.
  • Responsible for monitoring third party warehouse inventory levels, the scrapping/dumping of obsolete product and potential creation of stock transfer orders.
  • Assuring that our four internally owned and operated warehouses are being utilized to maximum capacity to avoid/minimize the need for outside third-party storage of inventory.
  • Providing detailed analysis in support of all domestic outsourced production facilities. Outside Processing is a varying component in the High Liner production scope, where volumes will greatly fluctuate, and dependent on seasonality as well as special project demand.
  • Reporting monthly to the Manager of Inventory Planning and Control on all outside processor and 3rdparty warehouse inventory reconciliations.

  • You like helping people and are good at quickly establishing a rapport; this role has many internal and external customers who will be relying on your help.
  • You understand inventory & distribution and how it all operates; you'll be dealing with lots of folks from various warehouses.
  • You believe in education & so do we. We would like to see a minimum of a Bachelor's degree for this position.
