Are you looking for a fun and rewarding part-time job where you can share your talents and inspire young minds? Do you have experience working in an educational setting, leading engaging activities for youth? If so, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!


About the Role:

As an Enrichment Instructor, you will play a key role in leading exciting and interactive camp activities for school-age children. Your goal is to spark curiosity, encourage creativity, and help children build confidence in a fun and supportive environment. You'll introduce campers to new skills and interests beyond their summer learning hours, guiding them in activities that foster personal growth and exploration.


What You'll Do:

  • Plan and lead engaging enrichment activities in areas such as Art, Team Sports, Dance, and Cooking to encourage creativity, teamwork, and skill-building.
  • Create a fun and inclusive learning environment that encourages children to follow their passions and try new things.
  • Adapt lessons to fit the interests and abilities of a diverse group of children.
  • Provide clear and enthusiastic instruction, ensuring all participants feel encouraged and supported.


What We're Looking For:

  • At least 2 years of experience in planning and leading instructional activities for children.
  • Experience working with elementary-aged children in an educational or camp setting.
  • Ability to develop and implement engaging lesson plans that are both fun and educational.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to connect with children from diverse backgrounds.
  • Passion for fostering creativity, exploration, and personal growth in youth.

Qualifications

  • Must meet or exceed qualifications for a Group Leader as defined by licensing agencies
  • Preferred education, BA/BS in education, youth services, recreation or, related or equivalent work experience
  • For enrichment opportunities not academically based, one year of experience in the enrichment area is required
  • Schedule is Monday - Thursday 11am to 4pm and Friday's from 8am to 4pm from July 7th through August 8th.
