Penn State Internal Audit is seeking to hire a Staff Auditor with internal or external auditing experience to assist in performing risk-based audits designed to independently review and evaluate the University's financial and operational controls. This position will be filled at an Intermediate or Advanced Professional level, depending upon the successful candidate's education and experience. The Intermediate Professional level requires a minimum of a Bachelors degree plus one year of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Additional experience and/or education are required for Advanced Professional level. A Bachelor's degree in Accounting and certifications, such as CPA, or CIA are preferred. Higher Education experience is desirable. Experience in programming and data analytics with tools such as ACL, Caseware, and PowerBI is preferred. Must be a U.S. citizen to apply to this opportunity. This position offers a hybrid work schedule that combines on campus and remote work with flexible hours. The expectation for on campus work is a minimum of 3 days a week. CAMPUS SECURITY CRIME STATISTICS: Pursuant to the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act and the Pennsylvania Act of 1988, Penn State publishes a combined Annual Security and Annual Fire Safety Report (ASR). The ASR includes crime statistics and institutional policies concerning campus security, such as those concerning alcohol and drug use, crime prevention, the reporting of crimes, sexual assault, and other matters.
