Job Summary

We are seeking a Sr. Developer with 6 + years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in AWS Cloud Formation AWS CloudWatch AWS Glue Catalog AWS DevOps AWS IAM Python and SQL. Additionally experience in the Cards & Payments domain is essential.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain cloud infrastructure using AWS Cloud Formation to ensure scalable and secure environments.
  • Monitor and optimize system performance using AWS CloudWatch to ensure high availability and reliability.
  • Manage and catalog data using AWS Glue Catalog to support data integration and analytics.
  • Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using AWS DevOps to streamline development and deployment processes.
  • Ensure secure access and identity management using AWS IAM to protect sensitive data and resources.
  • Write and maintain Python scripts to automate tasks and improve operational efficiency.
  • Develop and optimize SQL queries to support data retrieval and manipulation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement solutions in the Cards & Payments domain.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to team members to ensure best practices are followed.
  • Conduct code reviews to maintain code quality and adherence to standards.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues to minimize downtime and ensure smooth operations.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve skills and knowledge.
  • Contribute to the overall success of the company by delivering high-quality solutions that meet business needs.

Qualifications

  • Must have 6+years of experience in software development with a focus on AWS technologies.
  • Must have expertise in AWS Cloud Formation AWS CloudWatch AWS Glue Catalog AWS DevOps AWS IAM Python and SQL.
  • Must have experience in the Cards & Payments domain.
  • Should have strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
  • Should have excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Nice to have experience with other AWS services and tools.
  • Nice to have experience with Agile methodologies.

Salary and Other Compensation:

Applications will be accepted until 03/11/2025.

The annual salary for this position is between $95000 - $109000 depending on the experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
