Our Technicians work a Compressed Work Week (CWW). This means that each pay period you work three 12-hour shifts one week, and four 12-hour shifts the following week*. Per California law, you will be eligible for Overtime Pay (1.5X Hourly Rate) for all time worked over 8 hours in one shift (24.5 hours of OT per two week pay period).
Job Responsibilities:
- Work from written instructions that provide detailed methods and sequence of assembly operations using a bill of materials, diagrams and assembly drawings.
- Interface with Engineering and Quality Assurance regarding assembly requirements, workmanship standards and customer product specifications.
- Conduct final assembly and functionality test, including mechanical brim assembly, mechanical burn-in using prober, electrical testing using flying prober, final inspections
- Align, fit, and assemble mechanical /electrical component parts, using hand tools, power tools, fixtures, templates, and microscopes.
- Analyze and record test results and prepare written testing documentation.
- Inspect mechanical and electrical parts and hardware in assemblies, using microscopes and other tools.
- Verify dimensions and clearances of parts to ensure conformance to specifications, using precision measuring instruments.
Experience, Education and Skills Required:
- High School diploma or GED with experience, prefer technical school.
- Strong attention to detail, focus, and highest standards for quality.
- Good communication skills (English), both written and verbal.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Clean room environment experience.
Physical Requirements:
- While performing the duties of the job, the associate is regularly required to stand for an extended amount of time, walk and reach with hands and arms.
- Must be able to lift and move up to 50 pounds (Chest level).
- Approximately 90% of the work is performed in Clean room area (Class 10,000).
The pay range for this role inBaldwin Park, CA is between$23.25 and$30.50. The pay range may differ in other locations. FormFactormaintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in education, training, skills, relevant work experience, business needs and market demands.
