Manufacturing Test Engineer

Seattle, WA / Bellevue, WA

Bluehawk Consulting is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Manufacturing Test Engineer (MTE) with expertise in scripting, fixture setup, and creation. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing test processes, creating custom test fixtures, and ensuring the seamless execution of manufacturing tests to maintain product quality and reliability.

Responsibilities


  • Develop and maintain automated test scripts for manufacturing processes.
  • Design, build, and set up test fixtures to support product testing and validation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define test requirements and specifications.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve test-related issues, ensuring minimal downtime.
  • Analyze test data and provide detailed reports to support product quality improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and best practices in fixture design and test processes.

Required Skills & Experience


  • 5 years of Electrical Testing experience.
  • Proven experience in scripting languages such as Python, Perl, or similar.
  • Strong understanding of test fixture design, setup, and maintenance.
  • Familiarity with automated test equipment and manufacturing processes.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of hardware debugging and electrical testing.
  • Familiarity with data acquisition systems and test management tools.

Education

Required Education

  • Electrical Engineering degree.

Salary Range for this position: $113,000 - $125,500
