BID/JOB ANNOUNCEMENT PROJECT COORDINATOR - SENIORS Department of Family and Support Services Number of Positions: 1 (additional vacancies possible pending budget approval) Starting Salary: $73,140.00/Year Applications for this position will be accepted until 11:59pm CDT on 02/23/2025 This position is open to the public and all current City employees covered under the City's collective bargaining agreement with AMERICAN FEDERATION OF STATE, COUNTY, AND MUNICIPAL EMPLOYEES (AFSCME) - BARGAINING UNIT 1, 3, 4 & 5. Select your correct bargaining unit FAILURE TO FOLLOW THESE INSTRUCTIONS WILL RESULT IN A REJECTED BID APPLICATION The Project Coordinator manages components of projects, programs, or initiatives within the Seniors Division. Projects may include new program development and implementation, social service system change, and system change initiatives that require cross-agency/ cross-partner collaboration. The position oversees a portfolio of seniors programs that deliver services to vulnerable populations, monitors grant funding and program budgets, and reports performance outcomes. The Project Coordinator also supports policy and planning by researching and staying abreast of best practices and may serve as division representative in collaborative projects lead by other partners. Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor's degree in Public or Business Administration, Social Sciences, Planning or a related field, plus three years of experience in program administration or an equivalent combination of training and experience is required.
