YOUR IMPACT
As IoT Architect/Solution Consultant you will design and implement comprehensive IoT solutions that meet our clients' business objectives. You will have a deep, hands on and practical understanding of IoT architectures, protocols, and cloud technologies, and will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop scalable, secure, and innovative IoT solutions.

WHAT THE ROLE OFFERS

  • Design and Development: Create end-to-end IoT architectures encompassing devices, edge computing, and cloud services to ensure scalability, reliability, and security.
  • Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements, translating them into technical specifications for IoT systems.
  • Technology Selection: Identify and select appropriate hardware, software, and communication protocols to meet specific IoT solution needs.
  • Security Implementation: Design and implement robust security measures to protect IoT devices, networks, and data.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to integrate IoT solutions with existing systems and infrastructure, ensuring seamless operation.
  • Provide guidance and support to development teams throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring adherence to best practices and standards.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED

  • 3+ years experience as IoT Architect or in a similar role, with a strong portfolio of successful IoT projects.
  • Deep understanding of IoT platforms, protocols, and standards.
  • Programming languages such as C++, Java, or Python.
  • Cloud services like AWS IoT, Microsoft Azure IoT, or similar platforms.
  • Hand-on in IAM, single sign-on, multi-factor authentication, passwordless authentication, universal directory, privileged access, and device access.
  • REST APIs and SDKs
  • OAuth, OAuth2, OIDC, SAML, LDAP) together with experience in customer identity frameworks.
  • Building web applications, incorporating both front and backend languages/frameworks
  • HTTP, HTML, and REST services. This includes the ability to use the dev tools in a browser to explain HTTP traffic and an HTTP client (like curl or Postman) to interact with an HTTP service
  • Understanding of core security concerns within a typical application (password hashing, SSL/TLS, encryption at rest, XSS, XSRF)
  • Wireless technologies (LoRa, WiFi, BLE, Cellular, etc.), with an understanding of radio coverage aspects for IoT applications
  • Knowledge of data communication, network, software application and IT technologies
  • Consistent track record in technical / pre-sales capacity
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
