Exciting opportunity to lead and expand Maersk Training's presence in the USA

We Offer

The opportunity to perform in a challenging work environment and gain global exposure.

Overseeing and driving all aspects of the business including sales, operations, finance, administration, HR and IT, the Managing Director will take responsibility for growing the top and bottom line and in doing so ensure a balance between profitability, sustainability, quality and high levels of customer service and satisfaction. The Managing Director reports to the CEO of Maersk Training.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive P&L performance - Topline and bottom line performance - across sites and delivery locations

  • Execute global strategy within the region

  • Drive high engagement and performance culture within the team

  • Drive growth in new customers and segments to benefit both region as well as MT globally.

  • Collaborate and secure synergies across different regions

  • Share resources where relevant with other regions to support overall MT success

  • Building relationship with senior stakeholders within the region

Who we are looking for

The right candidate is an experienced Manager, with a wide range of business experience; able to support, implement and sustain change and improvement - you are a self-starter with the sense of urgency required to get things done quickly and with high quality.

You are commercially oriented and operationally astute and a Managing Director that can demonstrate a high performing track record.

  • Experience from the training/education and/or form within the oil & gas industry will be an advantage

  • A passion for technology, commercial acumen and ability to deliver value through strategic business development.

  • Understanding of cost control in a service business

  • High ethical standards and integrity

  • Experience working with headquarter and functional resources, ability to build effective relationships, solve problems, and get things done.

  • Experience creating a high-trust, high-performance, team culture.

  • Demonstrated leadership and people-management skills

You will lead from the front motivating and inspiring those around you.
