Location: Liverpool, NY (Onsite)


Duration: 1 Year Contract
Pay Rate: $50/Hour on w2 without benefits
Shift Timing (Day/ Evening/ Night): Day


Job Description:

  • Develop and deliver training programs to shop floor personnel on various manufacturing and assembly processes, including soldering, ESD handling, crimping, and cable assembly.
  • Train personnel to meet the requirements of industry standards such as J-STD, IPC-610, and IPC-620, ensuring compliance and adherence to best practices.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive training course materials, including manuals, guides, and visual aids, to support both formal classroom instruction and informal on-the-job training.
  • Conduct training sessions in both formal classroom settings and informal on-the-job environments, adapting your approach to meet the needs of different learners and production workflows.
  • Assess the effectiveness of training programs and make recommendations for improvement, ensuring that our shop floor personnel have the skills and knowledge required to excel in their roles.
  • Collaborate with production supervisors, quality engineers, and other stakeholders to identify training needs and develop targeted programs to address gaps in knowledge and skills.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments, new technologies, and evolving standards, incorporating this knowledge into training programs to ensure our production team remains current and competitive.


Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as manufacturing engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Proven experience in manufacturing engineering, training, or a related field, with a strong focus on training and development.
  • Knowledge of industry standards such as J-STD, IPC-610, and IPC-620, as well as experience with manufacturing processes such as soldering, ESD handling, crimping, and cable assembly.
  • Excellent communication and training skills, with the ability to adapt to different learning styles and environments.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess training needs and develop effective programs to address gaps in knowledge and skills.
  • Schedule is targeted to be Mon-Thu 9 hours and 4 hours Friday
