Job Title: Tax Accountant/Tax Specialist/Tax Preparer (Credits /Debits)

Job Description:

• This position works independently to Research, Analyze, and Validate documents and payments that require a more detailed review.
• This position will consult a procedural manual for direction. You will be working in multiple systems to acquire information or correct inaccurate material and will be performing mathematical calculations, cross-referencing, and researching system and taxpayer errors;
• This position is production and quality-based and is driven by deadlines that are expected to be met.

Required Skills

• Knowledge of Banking credits and debits. Computer skills: Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Google Suites
• Skill in Analyzing and evaluating claims. Critical thinking. Collaboratively & and independently problem-solve. Multitasking and attention to detail. Interpersonal relationships.
• Ability to: Handle changing priorities to meet required deadlines.
• Perform mathematical computations. Analyze data and make decisions. Perform tasks with precision and speed.

Experience Required

• Working in a production-based environment with high accuracy and deadlines.
• Intermediate computer skills- Google Suites and Microsoft Office.
• Working in an office setting - individually and collaboratively.

Required Education:

• High school Diploma.
