The Records and Information Management (RIM) Representative will assist with the records and information activities for the Company. The scope of records and information management encompasses all physical and electronic records of the Company including data associated with work in process, files, off-site storage, computer files, server files, phones, and instant message tools utilized by the Company and its personnel.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Under the direction of the Director, RIM Compliance, the Representative will assist with the implementation of our RIM program including policies, procedures and standards for physical and electronic company records and information across all business units and functions.
  • Arrange, clean, and isolate data to the appropriate locations based on organization of structure of company records
  • The capability to evaluate and interpret data to identify the best course of action
  • Prepare files to be sent for storage. When needed, arranges for files to be retrieved from storage.
  • Applying records retention policies to determine what should be retained and what can be disposed of, to decrease offsite storage costs while maintaining access to necessary documents.
  • Maintaining records in accordance with records retention schedules.
  • Maintain meticulous knowledge and organization of structure of company records and responsiveness to the legal team as they need reports or information for SEC/SOX reporting, legal holds, and confidential data.

Required Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or GED equivalent
  • At least four (4) years' experience in compliance, records management, document control, data entry or a senior administrative role
  • At least one (1) year of experience with paper and electronic file reconciliation
  • Ability to work independently with limited direct supervision
  • Demonstrates ability to be flexible, meet deadlines, generate innovative solutions to meet constantly changing needs
  • Demonstrated ability to be exceptional at learning

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree preferred
  • Proven and extensive excel and data analytics skills
  • Motivated self-starter capable of performing with minimal supervision
  • Good communication skills both verbal and written
  • Familiar withoilfield terminology and operations
