We Make Life More Rewarding and Dignified Location: Nashville Summary: The Facilities Maintenance Tech is a skilled professional that supports the Facilities Supervisor in the execution of facility and maintenance duties to ensure a safe, well-maintained, and attractive work environment within the Nashville Distribution Center. This position is primarily responsible for maintaining facility upkeep, PM adherence, fulfilling work orders as assigned, and troubleshooting light industrial technical issues. Responsibilities: * Facility Maintenance -Service, maintain, install, remove, troubleshoot and repair as necessary all building mechanical equipment including, but not limited to air handlers, HVAC, pumps, air compressors, kitchen equipment, plumbing, electrical equipment, life safety devices, emergency power supplies and lighting. * Maintain Facility Appearance -Maintain facility appearance to World Class standards, including but not limited to, painting, furniture arrangements, and general housekeeping. * Preventative Maintenance -Perform preventative maintenance on facility equipment including the logging and documentation for life safety equipment. * Grounds-keeping - Support and assist third party contractor with maintenance upkeep. * Work Orders -Respond timely to orders to support facility production needs. * Emergency Calls -Respond to emergency repairs as needed. * Coordinate Work Projects -Plan and coordinate projects with vendors and / or customers affected. * Security- Primary Response to security needs and supporting security staff. * Vendors - Supports and walks with vendors on site during inspections, repairs and any other needs related. * Emergency Response - Administers and participates in all meetings and requirements dealing with all emergency investigations and responsive needs to the facility. * To perform other job related duties as determined and assigned by management. Specialized Skills/Technical Knowledge: * minimum 1 year of trade school studying basics in electrical, plumbing and HVAC. Local Specifications (English and Local Language): * Must be on call for building emergencies. * Must be capable of restoring building to normal operation after a power failure. * Must be able to work without supervision. * Must be able to determine, address and resolve emergency situations without guidance if necessary.
