Position Title: Intern

Location: Kennedy Space Center

Position Summary: Intern position supporting the Exploration Ground Systems (EGS), Program Planning & Control Division, Systems Engineering and Integration (SE&I), Operations and Test Management.

Description of Duties: Work with NASA and contractor in various fields of Configuration Management, Software Development, Engineering and IT as they prepare and execute tasks in performance of Exploration Ground Systems activities at KSC. Intern positions support processing for the Space Launch System (SLS) rocket and Orion spacecraft in support of Artemis I and beyond.

Requirements, Skills and Competencies:

• Currently enrolled in Business, Information Technology, or Science curriculum
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office including PowerPoint, Word and Excel, etc.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills are a must
• Excellent listening skills, organizational skills and the ability to decipher and understand technology projects from a high level
• Proficiency in the organization of data and understanding database management
• Proficiency in handling multiple tasks and projects at the same time
