Position Description

Position Title: Administrative Assistant- Personal Lines

Department: BayCoast Insurance

Level: 104

FLEXIBLE WORK PROGRAM ELIGIBILITY CODE: Hybrid Work (HW), Flextime (FLT), & Compressed Work Week (CWW)

PRIMARY FUNCTIONS / MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Performs miscellaneous communication and clerical duties.
  2. Receives visitors, ascertains their needs, and directs them accordingly.
  3. Provides consistent support to PL CSR's/Account Managers on a regular basis to promote efficient/error free processing of new & renewal business.
  4. Handles and processes all PROC Activities sent to Epic follow up.
  5. Handles homeowner binders for all institutions (other than BayCoast Bank) from start to finish.
  6. Responsible for opening, date stamping and distribution of mail to staff.
  7. Maintains a suspense system to follow up on outstanding endorsements and correspondence and follow up on overdue and suspense items.
  8. Embraces the Bank's commitment to SOLUTIONS by seeking and recognizing opportunities to refer new business to different areas of the Bank, Partners Insurance Group, Plimoth Investment Advisors, BayCoast Financial and BayCoast Mortgage.
  9. Performs other clerical and job-related duties as requested or required.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. Good communication skills both verbal and written.
  2. Ability to utilize computer programs and understand functionality.
  3. Accurate data entry.
  4. Some travel may be required. May work at any branch location as needed.

In the performance of respective task and duties, the employee is expected to successfully perform the essential functions of the position.
