Description & Requirements

Forvis Mazars US is seeking to add a Wealth Management professional to serve as an Associate Advisor who assists senior wealth management advisors in working with high-net-worth families in our Forvis Mazars US Private Client practice.

How you will contribute:

  • Supporting a Wealth Management team of advisors serving affluent families
  • Assisting families in creating comprehensive wealth management strategies including:
    • Financial Planning
    • Retirement Planning
    • Investment Management
    • Education Planning
    • Estate & Legacy Planning
    • Survivor Assistance
  • Develop/maintain in-depth expertise and global knowledge of wealth management services.
  • Actively support business development activities to identify, pursue & acquire new clients.

We are looking for people who have Forward Vision and:

  • An individual who is a self-starter
  • Passionate about serving clients.
  • Familiarity with the financial planning process and financial planning software
  • Ability to effectively communicate with clients and simplify the complex.
  • The ability to work in a team environment.
  • Ability to travel as needed.
  • Ability to coordinate & work on multiple, concurrent client projects & complete assignments with minimal supervision.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree is required: Financial Planning degree preferred
  • 1-3 Years of Financial Planning experience
  • Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation, eligibility to sit for the CFP exam, and/or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation
