Under the direction of and reporting to the Production Supervisor a Trim Sealing Operator is responsible for streamlining trim movement opportunity usage, reduce spoilage, and increase accuracy in the plant while removing some work load from Material Handlers, Team Leaders, and Production Inventory Auditor/Receiving Support. This position requires knowledge of company products, methods, materials, quality standards, and polities. This also includes other duties that may be assigned by your Supervisor.

Shift; 3rd Shift 10:30p.m. - 6:30a.m. Monday - Friday

What You Do.



  • Prepares trim orders for shipping including checking, repacking skids, sorting, wrapping, and attaching shipping instructions according to assignments.
  • Work with the Material Handlers and ensure that trim that is generated on all lines is accurately labeled, handled, and binned to the correct location in the cooler.
  • Ability to look up, retrieve, and stage process materials.
  • Execute and manage work orders in the SAP system utilizing hand held and laptop devices
  • Set-up operate machines, add film, and complete changeovers to maximize output while maintaining correct weights, temperatures, dates, scale integrity, to attain safe and quality finished product.
  • Verify that adequate supplies are available to meet line production needs.
  • Maintain all production and record systems incidental to operation department. Distribute reports for each production run as specified.
  • Monitor temperatures for heat seals adjust when necessary.
  • Ensure that all personnel in their area of responsibility are appropriately trained.
  • Assign work, communicate instructions, ensure the quality and quantity of output and maintain effective flow of work and help resolve production problems and interruptions.
  • Demonstrate good communication skills.


Your Education and Experience.



  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED/HSED) required or minimally enrolled with anticipated completion in 12 months or less.
    Prior manufacturing experience is a plus



Your Qualifications.



  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • Willingness to complete fork lift certification upon hire.
  • Ability to learn and carry out lock out tag out procedures as required.
  • Lifting 50 lbs.
