Fund Manager, Unitranche, Cleveland (KeyBanc Capital Markets)

Job Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate review and execution of NDAs & NRLs with both Key & JV partner legal teams
  • Track and manage submission of non-credit approvals (i.e., capital committee, OCC notice, equity investment approvals, etc.)
  • Coordinate all cash transactions and manage JV cash position / cash flows in consultation with the JV partner to meet upcoming funding needs.
  • Deal Funding
    • Prepare unitranche funds flow / funding documents and coordinate internal / external parties to fund debt, equity and balance sheet cash as well as payment of fees as agreed.
    • Provide transaction details and deal materials to 3rd party service providers for booking / accounting purposes and preparation of 3rd party valuation.
  • Oversee A/P & A/R processes and coordinate communication of all fund-related financial data to 3rd party servicer to facilitate monthly / quarterly / annual reporting.
  • Review monthly / quarterly / annual financials for accuracy and provide edits as needed.
  • Coordinate and track required payment of quarterly estimated state taxes.
  • Coordinate filing of federal / state tax returns and completion of annual audits in conjunction with KeyBank accounting and external auditors
  • Oversee internal compliance & reporting and filing of annual / quarterly state license filings.
  • Ad-hoc management financial reporting and analysis

Qualifications/ Experience Required:

  • Bachelor's or Masters degree in business, accounting, finance or related field
  • 5-7 Years accounting and/or finance experience
  • 3+ years business or operations experience
  • Strong Analytical skills; ability to interpret complex financial data and draw meaningful conclusions
  • Demonstrates capability to work independently and work with internal and external clients and/or 3rd party providers
  • Ability to demonstrate leadership courage
  • Build trust with stakeholders
  • Skills in exercising judgement within broadly defined practices and policies while also being able to make sound decisions based on analysis, discussion, experience and judgement
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to work collaboratively

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

This position is eligible to earn a base salary in the range of $120,000 to $175,000 annually depending on location and job-related factors such as level of experience. Compensation for this role also includes eligibility for short-term incentive compensation and deferred incentive compensation subject to individual and company performance.
