The Electro-Mechanical Technician Level 2 is responsible for the day-to-day troubleshooting and preventative/predictive maintenance. This worker acts as a junior-level material handling technician on all equipment that is installed at the Minden, NV location. (Weekdays) Overtime and occasional weekend work may be required.Night shift: 5:30pm - 4am, Monday- Thursday. What we offer:

The base pay range for this role is estimated to be $26 to $31.50 an hour at the time of posting. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as work location, education, experience, knowledge, and skills.

What You Will Do in This Role

In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our Material Handling Equipment (MHE). Your key responsibilities include:

  • Repairing and maintaining MHE, including belt tracking, component adjustment/replacement, and lubrication.
  • Completing preventative maintenance routines, documentation, and procedures to ensure equipment operates flawlessly.
  • Using electrical test equipment to troubleshoot electrical circuitry effectively.
  • Building and closing work orders with detailed data, including labor hours, equipment maintenance, and parts used.
  • Troubleshooting conveyance problems and determining the resources needed to resolve them.
  • Locating and tracking spare parts from inventory to ensure seamless operations.
  • Performing complex maintenance and equipment testing to meet stringent specifications.
  • Aiding in training customers to operate equipment successfully.
  • Responding to service calls and correcting equipment failures and faults promptly.
  • Identifying problems as they occur and taking appropriate steps to tackle them.
What We Are Looking For

To thrive in this role, you should have:

  • A High School diploma or equivalent experience. An Associate's degree or proven experience is preferred, along with niche skill training/certification.
  • Demonstrated knowledge with 1-2 years of experience in a technical or specialty area.
  • Confirmed experience in your area of responsibility and successful demonstration of position and key tasks.
  • The ability to be customer-facing while maintaining professional communications through email and in-person conversations with onsite customer leadership, Dematic leadership, and technicians.
  • Experience leading projects, teams, and advising day-to-day operations and tasks for the onsite maintenance team.
  • Physical capability to lift and move materials up to 50 pounds, regularly bend, lift, stretch, and reach both below the waist and above the head.
  • Ability to occasionally push and pull wheeled dollies loaded with products up to 100 pounds.
  • The capability to climb ladders and gangways safely and without limitation.
  • Ability to work in different conditions: small spaces, dust, fumes, hot/cold temperatures, noise, vibration, concrete, wet surfaces.
