HRIS Manager

Location: Jacksonville, Florida
Direct Hire Opportunity

Vaco is seeking a highly skilled HRIS Manager to join a dynamic team in Jacksonville, Florida. This position will play a pivotal role in managing all HR technology systems, including the Human Resource Information System (HRIS), Applicant Tracking System (ATS), and other HR tools, ensuring they are optimized to support business needs and enhance employee experiences.

Key Responsibilities HR Systems Management
  • Administer, maintain, and optimize HRIS, ATS, and other HR technology systems.
  • Lead system configuration, upgrades, and troubleshooting to ensure optimal performance.
  • Identify opportunities for system enhancements to improve functionality and user experience.
  • Integrate systems and processes effectively with HR and other departments.
Project Management and Implementation
  • Plan and execute HR technology projects, including system implementations and integrations.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders on vendor selection, system integration, and change management.
  • Develop project plans, timelines, and deliverables, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
Data Integrity and Governance
  • Establish and enforce data governance policies to maintain the accuracy, security, and compliance of HR data.
  • Conduct regular audits and address discrepancies.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for data-related inquiries and reporting requests.
Dashboards and Analytics
  • Develop and deliver dashboards that provide actionable insights into key HR metrics.
  • Partner with HR leadership to analyze data and support decision-making.
  • Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations in all reporting activities.
  • Train stakeholders in accessing and interpreting HR analytics.
Training and Support
  • Design and deliver training to HR team members on system functionality and best practices.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) for HR systems, offering support and guidance.
  • Collaborate with IT and vendors for ongoing system support.
Vendor and Stakeholder Relations
  • Build strong relationships with HR technology vendors to optimize ROI.
  • Act as the point of contact for system-related inquiries and escalations.
Required Competencies
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to data integrity.
  • Adaptability to a fast-paced, growing organization.
  • HRIS platform expertise (e.g., Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM).
  • Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Excel).
Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, IT, Business Administration, or a related field (advanced degree preferred).
  • 8+ years of experience in HR technology or HRIS roles, including leadership positions.
  • Project management experience implementing complex systems.
  • Expertise in HRIS platforms such as Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM, or similar.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
