Project/Contract Manager

Summary:

We are seeking a Project/Contract Manager to oversee contract execution and project management to ensure compliance, efficiency, and successful delivery. This role requires expertise in contract administration, stakeholder coordination, and risk management to drive operational excellence and strategic objectives.

Essential Job Functions:

• Overall management and coordination of contract work
• On-site supervision of animal care and other personnel
• Ensure compliance with policies and procedures
• Generate reports, including monthly progress reports
• Implement and maintain the quality control and assurance program
• Develop and maintain training and occupational health and safety programs
• Ensure corrective actions for all deficiencies identified

Necessary Skills and Knowledge:

• Strong management and coordination skills
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office and database systems
• Understanding of Federal Regulations governing animal husbandry
• Strong communication and leadership skills

Minimum Qualifications:

• Certified Manager Animal Resources (CMAR)
• American Association for Laboratory Animal Science (AALAS) certification at the Laboratory Animal Technologist (LATG) level
• Minimum of 5 years in a supervisory role in an animal research facility of similar size and scope.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science/Bachelor of Arts

Pay and Benefits

The salary range for this position is $86,000 - $115,000 annually.
